Peep and the big wide world.

Since I have had two more children I knew I had to be careful with what my boys watch, because children become obsessed with the shows they like. So I avoid Barney like the plague.  But I happened to stumbled upon a new favorite show for the whole family. Peep and the Big Wide World.  It follows the lives of three little birds, Peep, Chirps, and Quack. My toddler always ask to watch Peep.

The other day I was busy in the bathroom, working on some mysterious paperwork, and in he walks. Handing me the TV remote. This is how he often request the show to be played.

"Mom, mote, Peep"
"Thanks, bud"
"You Welcome" As he walks out of the room.  Hey at least he used his manners we have been working on.

One of my favorite things I love about the show is different Quackism, as we call them.  The birds were talking about spring being over,

"...the world is over as we know it, ..."  Chirp

"Well tell that to my tail"  Quack

"I am not talking to your tail"  Chirp

"I don't know how my tail is going to learn anything, if no one is going to talk to it" Quack

That to me is just funny, and sort of sums up my life, if no one is going to talk to me, how am I going to learn anything?

Swearing on the sabbith.

That is all I have wanted to do today. It all started yesterday, I woke up with the worst headache I have ever had. It was bad enough my husband kept giving me the "are you having a stroke" test.  Smile, raise your arms...repeat after me.

The worst part was the numerous times I ended up throwing up.  I didn't throw up that much with my morning sickness with the last two babies combined.  I was in bed for most of the day and I am still taking pain meds this morning. Luckily enough it was a Saturday, I don't know what I would have done with the boys if my husband wasn't around.  He took great care of me and of them. All while he had that deer in the headlights look, because he was so worried about what the outcome could have been.  I have had many a migraine, and I got to say this had them licked by a long shot. I am hoping this isn't a sign of what is to come, if it is, I will need some kind of drugs I don't think are legal for humans to take.

To add to the swearing, the toddler woke up super early today, he will typical sleep until about 10, but that is because he typically gets into bed after ten at night. But he was up super early screaming, like he had bad dreams, which I think the movie Up gives him.  He hadn't watched it in a long while, and was sleeping fine. But since he needed to be occupied yesterday, he ended up watching it, and bam, back at the screaming terrors. I don't know if it is the floating house, or the mean dogs, but it is something.

But it doesn't end there, the youngest baby seems to be teething, I can see at least four teeth just waiting to poke out of his little swollen gums. He has his bottom two already, but he is getting his top two, the two on the sides and it looks like two molars maybe working their way up. And if I didn't think his biting was bad enough before, I can't wait for a mouthful to chomp done on my precious hooters. Or should I say my lovely tata's? He actually got better yesterday, but now that I think about it, maybe it was because I am super drugged up that nursing didn't hurt as much.

But one thing I don't have to swear about, my hubby took my teenager school shopping. Yippie!!! That was so nice of him, and so easy on me. I have taking him the last few years, and before that we all went. But school starts monday, and we couldn't put it off, and I couldn't drive with the pain I had, nor the drugs that was numbing that pain, so I was off the hook.  They seemed to have a great time, and got along, whoohoo. The teenager even got to drive for a bit.  So they must have had a really good time. The score of the day according to my son was the white pants he has been wanting for months now.  But soon he will learn white pants have no place in the home of two babies and two extra sheddy dogs.

Oh that hurts!

My baby keeps biting me when I nurse. I can't take much more of it, I had stopped him nicely, and have told him that hurts, I have even yelped, because dang that hurts. He cried once, every other time he laughed.  The last time this happened,  it was just as the mail was being delivered outside of an opened window. I wanted to cry, and the person outside must have heard me saying "No, No, No" because they stopped and listened.  I am sure they now think I hate having the mail delivered, if only it was that easy.  That I could fix, but this biting thing, is a whole other issue.  Babies shouldn't leave bite marks.

Why am I awake?

I can't sleep, I haven't been able to get to sleep for sometime, and for several days now.  I also have had other things change with my body as well.  I asked my Dr if there was a certain hormone that controlled eating and being horny, and he said not a specific one. Well, I said I guess we need to have more research into women's health. He didn't seem to like that response, but I don't give a flying freak. Dr's don't seem to know a thing about women's bodies and they don't seem to want to know either.  But I can tell you they would know just how to fix my sex drive if I was a man.

I am trying to decide if I want to be more open in my blog, share who I am, and who my family is, and to share what I have posted. I have one person who has followed it here for a while and she seems to think the only person who could be offended is my husband.  I can see that. I am this snarky about him in real life, so if you spent five minutes with us you would know he can drive me bug nuts, and I can make him bat poop crazy.  So that shouldn't surprise anyone. But I just don't know if I am that ready to be that open to those who know me. But mostly I am worried I will bore them to death. Maybe I could sell kits that would make their passing easier after following me.

Also I have read some of my old ones, and they are full of mistakes. It is so easy to miss them when you first publish your post and so easy to spot them when you go back to read them. But I am sure the world already knows I am a lazy, illiterate, depressing avoid-er.  So why should I keep avoiding it?  Maybe I don't want to announce my blog, and have it be ignored. It is easy to not care if you are liked when you don't invite people to your party, a lot harder when you do invite them, and they won't come.

So why am I even writing about whether I am going to open up about my blog?  Because that is what my blog is about, growing and becoming a better person. If I can't open up to others, and accept the outcome, how can I grow?

And now, because as you know I can't sleep, and I am extra randy lately, I am going to go wake my hubby up,  or maybe a safer solution would be digging into some ice cream. Yeah, just what a insulin resistant, high cholesterol middle age woman on the path to heart disease needs to do, go eat ice cream at midnight.  I gotta get my ass to bed, even if it is just to toss and turn. Because the baby is going to wake up any minute now and will want to breastfeed.

The best follower ever.

I just wanted to shout out to my first and best follower.  Thanks Rosie, you are awesome.  I was just reading your blog, I got to where Chris was praying with the peanut M&M's.  I want to tell you all sorts of sickening, mushy things about you and Chris, and about how you are handling life, but I am sure you get sick of all of that. So I am going to say, you are really funny, and a great writer. Your musing on life are very insightful and entertaining. Maybe someday I can be as good as you.
